We have read the review on ectopic pregnancy (EP) treatments by Mol et al. (2008)
with great interest. The authors have produced an excellent piece of work on the current evidence, and should be congratulated. Based on their review of published randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on surgery, systemic methotrexate (MTX) and expectant management for tubal EP, the authors have concluded that laparoscopic surgery is the most cost-effective treatment for
